About Us

Gramin Samassya Mukti Trust is a voluntary organization that has been active in the sustainable development of rural, tribal and urban communities. It was established with the specific objectives to solve the livelihood, health and educational issues, considering their sustainability and ecological security. The organization feels these issues are highly interlinked and should be addressed in an integrated way.

We firmly believe that empowering the local Self-Governance should be our key approach to enhance the skills of the community to help them manage their issues on their own. The organization works for the empowerment of the most ignored and socio-economically oppressed communities with special emphasis on women.
